Waste reduction/recycling services – 19 October 2010

Have your say on waste reduction and recycling

Ever wondered what you can and can’t put in your recycling bin? Want to know more about how the Council and its partners aim to reduce the waste we all create? Can you help make the Borough a greener place to live?

Come along to an open meeting on ‘Waste Reduction and Recycling Services’ on Tuesday 19 October 2010 in the Small Hall, Kensington Town Hall.  Registration, refreshments and information stalls from 6pm for a 6.30pm start. The event finishes at 8pm.

A lively and informal event, you’ll be able to question senior officers and councillors about the waste collection services in the Borough.  visit relevant information stalls, and become more knowledgeable about what happens to our rubbish.  We will welcome your comments and ideas to improve our recycling and waste services.

This free event is part of a series of public meetings hosted by the Borough Community Relations Advisory Group to encourage residents  to get involved in the community and influence local services.

The public meeting is open to all but places are limited. To find out more, submit a question or to book your place, please contact the Council’s Community Engagement Team on 020 7598 4633 or email communityengagement@rbkc.gov.uk <mailto:communityengagement@rbkc.gov.uk> .  So that we can plan the event please can you book your place by 1 October.
